The poster competition will be held on November 15th and 16th, 2024, during the conference days.
Are there any specifications for the poster material?
There are no specific requirements for panaflex material, but higher quality with suitable fonts and color combinations is preferred.

Residents can participate in two events: a poster competition and a 6-minute oral presentation.
What are the requirements for the poster presentation?
For the poster presentation, you must create a poster that adheres to specific guidelines. The poster will be displayed for two full days, allowing the audience and judges to view your work.
How does the oral presentation work?
The oral presentation allows you to present your topic for 6 minutes in an auditorium/hall setting. You will only present once, so it’s important to be concise and engaging.
Is abstract submission required?
Yes, submission of abstracts is mandatory for acceptance in both the poster competition and the oral presentation. Make sure your abstract meets the guidelines to ensure consideration.
Where will the events take place?
Both the poster competition and the oral presentations will be held at AFID. The exact location within AFID will be provided closer to the event date.
Are there any judging criteria for the events?
Yes, posters and presentations will be judged based on clarity, originality, and engagement. Specific judging criteria will be provided upon submission of your abstract.
